Event Recap: Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo!
Myself, along with the gang here at Rocket Punch, had the awesome opportunity to spend this past Saturday at the first annual Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo, down at the Jaycee Community Building in Huntsville, Alabama. Tagged as "North Alabama's largest one day comic and pop culture show", the Expo was a great place to check out many unique vendors, artists, and authors across the North Alabama area and beyond!
Our friends over at Akioboy made this amazing video of all the awesome attendees, cosplayers and vendors at the convention.

With over 60 vendors, we were really impressed with the different, awesome geeky and nerdy things we found on the showroom floor. We even managed to grab some nice items from the vendors while we were there! Some other content that was there included some great panels, including the one for the upcoming Star Wars fan film form North Alabama, Star Wars: Battle of Rocket City, various food trucks serving great food throughout the day, and, of course, LOTS of great cosplay form the attendees! We took some great photos of the event, so check out the gallery below (remember to click the picture to enlarge!):
We were very humbled and excited to be able to attend this first-ever Expo for North Alabama! The turnout was awesome, and plenty of people had a great time hanging out and checking out the cool gear, gear, and atmosphere on the floor, including us here at Rocket Punch! If you got a chance to go, tell us how you enjoyed the Expo in the comments below!
The gang at Rocket Punch wants to thank everyone who worked so hard to put this event together! We are pretty excited to see how the group that got this going will top this Expo for Year Two, and we here at Rocket Punch cannot wait to showcase more awesome expos, conventions, and events across North Alabama, the Southeast, and beyond, to everyone!
