In a new post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft has announced when we will be able to test out ARK: Survival Evolved on the Xbox One Game Preview program, which will be available on December 16th. Even though the game has be available to players via the Steam Early Access program on Windows PC, this will be the first appearance for it on consoles. In a quote from Studio Wildcard’s co-founder, Jesse Rapczak, he expressed his excitement about seeing the game on Xbox One:

“You’d be hard-pressed to find another game anywhere that has a huge and persistent open world, tens of thousands of unique A.I. characters, 70+ players per server, and exciting lore and endgame content – as well as single-player, non-dedicated and dedicated server modes.”

ARK: Survival Evolved is an extreme, persistent-world, shooter where players will be given the chance to tame wild beasts, including dinosaurs, to traverse and combat the dangerous wilderness ahead of you. For more info, check out the game on the Game Preview program, or on Early Access on Steam.
