Anyone looking to enjoy Mass Effect: Andromeda this holiday season will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on it.
In an article from The Verge, the next installment in the Mass Effect franchise won't be coming out until sometime in 2017. In a presentation at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen discussed the company's next lineup of upcoming games, and stated that Mass Effect: Andromeda would be released "in our fourth quarter", which runs from January - March 2017. While this may be some unfortunate news for Mass Effect fans, it also should give Bioware the time to craft another exemplary space opera.
