Welcome back to another game-packed edition of New Game Releases! In this week's edition, we are treated a a couple of great titles taking to new and exciting places, from prehistoric caveman periods, inside a comic book, the rough rapids of the backwater rivers in America, and even all the way to the Netherworld! Plus, we get treated a certain flora/undead battle that one of our editors absolutely cannot wait to play! Let's get to it and look at the new games headed our way this week:
Far Cry Primal (Xbox One, PS4) – February 23
Welcome to the Stone Age, a time of extreme danger and limitless adventure, when giant mammoths and sabretooth tigers rule the Earth, and humanity is at the bottom of the food chain. As the last survivor of your hunting group, you will learn to craft a deadly arsenal, fend off fierce predators, and outsmart enemy tribes to conquer the land of Oros and become the apex predator.
You will play as Takkar, a seasoned hunter and the last surviving member of your group. You have one goal: survival in a world where you are the prey. Grow your tribe and hone your skills to lead your people, conquer the land of Oros, and become the apex predator. Encounter a cast of memorable characters who can help push back the dangers of the wild. Face enemy tribes who will do anything to eradicate you and your allies.
Hitman Go (PS4, Vita) - February 23
Agent 47 has set his sights on consoles and handhelds with the release of Hitman GO on PS4, PS Vita, and PC. This latest installment into the Hitman universe features a unique spin on everyone's favorite assassin.
Developed by the new Square Enix Montreal, Hitman GO is a turn-based puzzle game featuring a pint sized, yet equally deadly Agent 47 as he moves across a game board to get from point A to B. Sounds simple right? While you'll find yourself easily getting into the game, mastering it will leave some scratching their heads enough to remove their own bar codes. With every move, comes a corresponding move from your adversaries so be sure to think things out before jumping into your next move or you'll be done for.
Mega Man Legacy Collection (3DS) - February 23
Mega Man Legacy Collection is a celebration of the 8-bit history of Capcom’s iconic Blue Bomber. Featuring faithful reproductions of the series’ origins with the original six Mega Man games, the Legacy Collection will remind long-time fans and introduce newcomers to what made Mega Man such a popular and iconic character. Mega Man Legacy Collection will feature all six games and much more.
In addition to the six Mega Man games, Mega Man Legacy Collection features new ways to experience the classic games with the Museum Mode and new Challenge Mode. Challenge Mode remixes gameplay segments from all six games, with plenty of scaling difficulty objectives for experienced players to conquer yet serving as a good starting point for new players, too. Museum Mode contains a comprehensive collection of history, high-res art and original concept pieces – a mega treat for any fan of Mega Man and video game history.
Ninja Senki DX (PS4, Vita, PC) - February 23
On its 5th anniversary, Ninja Senki leaps from the shadows onto Playstation 4, Playstation Vita and Steam to become Ninja Senki DX! When Princess Kinuhime is slain by a demon, Hayate becomes obsessed with revenge! Obliteracers (PC) - February 23

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - February 23

Toki Tori 2+ may look cute, but it’s a challenging puzzle adventure game. Whistle and stomp are the only moves you need to solve increasingly complex puzzles, as you manipulate strange critters’ behaviour and go anywhere, anytime on a lush forest island.

Reagan Gorbachev (Xbox One, PC) - February 24

Heaven's Hope (PC) - February 25

Sadame (3DS) - February 25
Translating simply as ‘fate’, four warriors are called to battle with a whirl of swords, spells and mysterious arcane abilities in this fast-paced hack-‘n-slash adventure. Cut a swathe through waves of demons as you battle against the vivid backdrop of a reimagined Warring States period of Japan. Players guide their chosen hero through dozens of stages, facing an onslaught of over twenty enormous bosses, collecting loot, enhancing their equipment and leveling up with new abilities with which to punish and slay Nobunaga’s hordes.
Choose from the sword-wielding Samurai; the ranged and stealthy Ninja; the spell-slinging Monk or the enchanting witchery of the Rogue. Each of the four playable heroes has a distinct story and gameplay style with their own abilities and skills to explore and enhance. However, as loot is shared between multiple save files and previously created heroes can be set to assist new ones in battle – not to mention the branching paths offered by the story – Sadame offers a huge amount of replay value.
Spacejacked (PC) - February 26
Spacejacked is a super fast-paced ARCADE TOWER-DEFENSE. Play as Dave, a lone technician tasked with protecting his spaceship from being overrun by aliens while it prepares to warp into hyperspace. Players who seek to experience a blend of action shooter and tower defense will enjoy this game!
Tiny Troopers Joint Ops (Xbox One) - February 26

We are the Dwarves (PC) - February 26
The Dwarven stars are slowly dying-- putting the race at the edge of extinction. We Are The Dwarves is an action-based tactical adventure with active pause (extreme slowdown of time) placing you in control of three Dwarven astronauts. Forcer is capable of ranged destruction, and timely set-up exectution. Smashfist, a brute at heart, gets up close and personal with rage worth avoiding. Shadow stays just where you'd expect him to, launching deadly successive assassinations and precision archery from afar. As a trio, combine each dwarfs attack styles into orchestrated destruction against your foe.
Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow (3DS eShop) - February 27
Experience the original journey that started the Pokémon phenomenon nearly 20 years ago, but now on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems as a digital download! Relive the feeling of catching your very first Pokémon from the original 150, complete with monochromatic pixel art and 4-bit background music. You'll take on the role of a Pokémon Trainer and travel across the land searching for amazing creatures called Pokémon. Catch, battle, and trade as you face Gym Leaders and try to stop Team Rocket!
