New Game Releases: Week of Jan 5th, 2016
Welcome to the first edition of New Game Releases! Here, we will work to bring you the latest and greatest video game released each week. Regardless of platform, New Game Release should be your one stop to find out what the next game is that you can get excited about!
Well, since it is January of the new year, game releases look a little low this week, but the few that we are getting are pretty exciting. An old classic return to the new generation, an fan favorite (finally) lands on the PS Vita, and what's a week without some vehicle-based combat action? Check out the games below, with some small descriptions from their creators:
Amplitude (PS4, PS3) - January 5th, 2015

Hardware Rivals (PS4) - January 5th, 2016

Volume (PS Vita) - January 5th, 2015
"Volume is an indie-based stealth action game that uses stealth mechanics inspired by Metal Gear Solid, allowing the player to plan courses of action to work through levels without being detected by guards, dogs, and automated security turrets to reach specific objectives. In addition to the game's levels, Volume supports user-made levels that can be shared with others. The game presents a modern take on the Robin Hood legend, where a young thief discovers a plot for a military coup involving various heists, and uses a device called "Volume" with the assistance of its artificial intelligence to perform these heists in a virtual manner and broadcasting them to the world at large to make the coup known."
