In a post on the official Ubisoft blog, early details were revealed on the post-content launch plans for their upcoming game, The Division. The post talks about the three expansions that will be included with the season pass for the game. The expansions will add a wealth of new content to the game, including new content, new gear, and new gameplay modes for players to enjoy. No specifics were given on the content, but the post did list a few details on the 3 expansions:

The first expansion, called “Underground”, lets a squad of four players explore new territory in a post-epidemic New York City underworld. In the second expansion, called “Survival”, players will have to try to survive in a hostile environment that will challenge even the most hardcore Division players. The third and final expansion is (perhaps fittingly) titled “Last Stand”.

The post also goes on to explain some benefits and goodies players who pickup the season pass on launch day will receive. Some of the perks will include an exclusive sawed-off shotgun, plus new outfits and weapon skins for your character. Season pass owners will also get exclusive events and content drop access on a monthly basis.

But what about players who don't pickup the season pass? Well, it looks like Ubisoft won't leave you out in the cold. The blog also states that they will look to provide free updates to the game throughout the year to all players, regardless on if you have purchased the season pass. The updates will revolve around new game modes and challenges for players to work together, and also include some nice rewards for completing them.

Players can pickup the season pass by purchasing the Gold Edition or Collector's Edition of the game. Also, there is still time for players to jump into The Division closed beta going on this weekend, if you have preordered the game on your platform of choice.
