From an article on The Verge, Microsoft announced the next batch of games that are backwards compatible for Xbox One, and there was a nice little surprise for gamers. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, the game detailing the events before The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is now available on the Xbox One starting today. This is great news for players (like myself) who never got the chance to play the prior games in the series, but one of the big surprises is that the game is free for a limited time. This is the only game on the new backwards compatibility  list that is free, and it is only available in the US, UK, Canada, France, and Germany, but this should give everyone no excuse not to grab this game ASAP. The game is only free until February 4th, so start adding it to your download queue fast! You can grab the game here.
